Configuring the Device

Your device needs to be configured to connect to Solandris. Upon powering on, the device enters configuration mode, indicated by short blue flashes on all slots. You can also manually enter configuration mode by pressing the button on the device. In this mode, the device broadcasts a WiFi network named Solandris.

  1. Press the button on the device to enter configuration mode. The device will start flashing blue.
  2. Connect to the Solandris network using the password mysolandris.
  3. Open a browser and navigate to 192.168.4.1. After a short wait, the configuration page will open. (If the page doesn’t load, power off the device, turn it back on, and repeat from step 2.)
  4. Enter the name and password of your WiFi network, which the device will use to connect to the Internet.
  5. In the API Key field, enter the API key noted during device registration in Solandris.
  6. Ensure the following values are as specified:
    • API URL: https://api.solandris.com
    • MQTT Host: e4352351.ala.eu-central-1.emqxsl.com
    • MQTT Port: 8883
    • MQTT Use TLS: checked
  7. Click Save.
  8. After saving, click the link Exit. The device will reset and connect to your WiFi network and Solandris. While connecting, all slots will flash green. If an error occurs during connection, the device will flash red. In this case, repeat the configuration process from step 1, ensuring all details are correct.
Once configured, the device will connect to Solandris, retrieve data from the configured sources, and display it 😊.
